FOREST LAKE’S SPLASHING NEW WATERWAY PLAY

Forest Lake is set receive a new nature waterplay park to be built in the Lake Precinct, with Federal Member for Oxley Milton Dick MP committing $431,000 of funding for the project under a re-elected Albanese Labor Government.

Milton Dick MP said this election commitment would go towards enhancing community infrastructure and promoting outdoor activities, giving families more local options.

The new park will transform the existing area on The Esplanade at Forest Lake, utilising current infrastructure, such as the fitness area, stairs, retaining wall and pathways.

It is expected to benefit over 6,300 families in Forest Lake.

“Forest Lake is a vibrant community with a growing population that values family-friendly spaces. Our families have been asking for more diverse play opportunities for our kids, and I know this announcement will be welcomed.”

Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
